Gil,
ReplyDeleteI am using 2 lbs of seeds a day myself. With almost a year of severe drought here, there is scant food available otherwise. I have house finches, lesser goldfinches, cardinals, black crested titmice, Caroline chickadees, cardinals, and scrub jays every day - all day. I've been putting out suet as well and feed some Bewicks wrens and orange crowned warblers with that. And, if I don't bring in the feeder at night, a gang of raccoons will empty it out!
Regards,
Mary Robinson
